PUBLIC NOTICE The Planning Commission of the City of Manteca will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 1001 W. Center Street, Manteca, California, at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024, on the following matter. ALL persons having an interest in this project are invited to be present to testify in person, or to submit statements either in person or in writing prior to the hearing. Project: Embarc Cannabis Retail, File No. UPJ 24-22 Description: The proposed project is a Conditional Use Permit to allow for tenant improvements to establish a cannabis retailer in a 3,000 square foot suite in an existing 15,925 square foot commercial building. The project has been determined exempt from the requirements of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per Article 19, 15301, Class 1, "Existing Facilities".
