Brichetto Farming, LLC has filed an application to appropriate water by permit with the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board), Division of Water Rights. The project associated with the application is located in Stanislaus County and would divert water from the Tuolumne River stream system. Summary of Water Right Application A033167 Date of Filing: The application was filed with the State Water Board on November 13, 2020. Source of Water: The source of water is Dry Creek, which is tributary to the Tuolumne River thence the San Joaquin River. Amount: The maximum amount of water requested for diversion is 2,390 acre-feet per year, which would be diverted at a rate not to exceed 32 cubic feet per second. Season of Diversion: The season for diversion of water is from November 1 of each year to April 30 of the succeeding year. Point of Diversion: The point where water will be diverted is located at North 2,082,090 feet and East 6,520,850 feet by California Coordinate System, Zone 3, North American Datum 1983, within the SE quarter of the SW quarter of Section 34, Township 2 South, Range 12 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. Purposes of Use: The purposes of use for water are irrigation and frost protection. Place of Use: The place of use for water is 1,284 acres within Assessor Parcel Numbers 011-005-059, 011-005-060, 011-005-067, 011-005-039, 011-005-040, 011-005-041, 011-005-042, 011-005-043, 011-005-044, 011-005-045, 011-005-046, 011-005-047, 011-005-048, 011-005-049, and 011-005-050 covering portions of Sections 22, 26, 27, 28, 33, 34, and 35 within Township 2 South, Range 12 East Mount Diablo Base and Meridian.
