balvarez@musd.net NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Manteca Unified School District, acting by and through its Board of Education, hereinafter "the District" will receive up to, but not later than the above-stated date and time, sealed Bids for the Award of a Contract for the Work of the Project generally described as shown above in the Project Description. Pre-bid site inspections will be conducted on Thursday, 04/03/25 9AM at East Union High School, 1700 North Union Rd Manteca, CA The Anticipated start date for this project will be 05/27/2025 with all work completing by 07/31/2025. This project has been deemed public work for purposed of the California Labor Code. It requires payment of prevailing wages. Wage rates can be obtained from the CA Dept of Industrial Relations at
https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/cmu/cmu.html.. All contractors bidding on this project must be registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. In accordance with the provision of California Public Contract Code SS3300, the District requires that Bidders possess the appropriate classification(s) of California Contractors License at the time that the Contract for the Work is awarded. Such License must be maintained and kept current during the duration of the project. Bids will be opened immediately following the bid closing. The Contracts for Work, if awarded, will be to the responsible Bidder(s) submitting the lowest prices responsive to the Bid Requests. If Alternative Bid items are included in the bidding, the lowest Base Bid and the combination of Alternate bid items selected in accordance with the applicable provision of the Instructions for Bidders. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid or in the bidding. Each Bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid, inclusive of any additive Alternate Bid Item(s). Failure of any Bid to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. Bids shall not be withdrawn by any Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of Bid Proposals.
