NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that The City of Ripon Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 6:00 P.M., in the City of Ripon Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Avenue, Ripon, on the following matter: SIXTH CYCLE HOUSING ELEMENT REVIEW- The City of Ripon Planning Department will be reviewing the adoption draft of the 6th Cycle Housing Element and forwarding a recommendation to the City Council for formal amendment of the Ripon General Plan to adopt the 6th Cycle Housing Element. The project is a General Plan Amendment to address the requirements of State law for housing elements, including to identify and analyze existing and projected housing needs in order to provide goals, policies, and programs that meet existing and projected housing needs for all income levels, promote the preservation, improvement, and development of housing for all segments of the community, and affirmatively further fair housing. The project is located citywide. THE PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY RESIDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR RECOMMENDATIONS ON PROPOSED PROJECTS AND PROVIDE COMMENTS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION.
