NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF MANTECA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 15, 2025, at or after 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 1001 W. Center Street, Manteca, California, or virtually as noticed by the City on its website and posted City Council Agenda, a Public Hearing will be conducted by the City Council of the City of Manteca at which time and place all persons may attend and be heard upon: PROJECT: City of Manteca Community Facilities District No. 2022-1 (Manteca Public Safety, Maintenance & Services) DESCRIPTION: Addition of Territory as Future Annexation Area to City of Manteca Community Facilities District No. 2022-1 (Manteca Public Safety, Maintenance & Services) The City of Manteca gives notice that the City Council has adopted "A Resolution Declaring Its Intention to Add Territory as a Future Annexation Area of Community Facilities District" (the "Resolution of Intention") under the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, Sections 53311 et seq., of the California Government Code (the "Act"). Reference is hereby made to the Resolution of Intention (No. R2025-20) on file with the City Clerk for further particulars. In the Resolution of Intention (No. R2025-20), the City Council stated its intention to add certain territory as a Future Annexation Area of the City's Community Facilities District No. 2022-1 (Manteca Public Safety, Maintenance & Services) (the "CFD") and to levy special taxes in such territory upon the unanimous approval of the owner or owners of each parcel or parcels at the time that parcel or those parcels are annexed from the future annexation area to the CFD, without any requirement for further public hearings or additional proceedings, all as provided in the Act. On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the regular meeting place of this City Council in the Council Chambers, 1001 W. Center Street, Manteca, CA 95336, the Council will hold a public hearing on the addition of the territory into the future annexation area of the CFD described in the Resolution of Intention (No. R2025-20). At the hearing, the testimony of all interested persons for and against the addition of the territory as a future annexation area of the CFD or the levying of special taxes within such territory upon the unanimous approval of the owner or owners of each parcel or parcels to be annexed in the future to the CFD will be heard. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that this document will be available for public review at the City of Manteca City Hall, City Clerk's Office during normal business hours. City Hall is located at 1001 W Center St, Manteca, CA 95337. All interested parties are invited to review the document prior to the April 15, 2025, Public Hearing. The City of Manteca encourages interested parties to attend public meetings and comment on the issues being discussed.
