NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that The City of Ripon City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 6:00 P.M., in the City of Ripon Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Avenue, Ripon, on the following matter: SIXTH CYCLE HOUSING ELEMENT REVIEW- The City of Ripon City Council will be reviewing the Planning Commission's recommendation to adopt the 2023-2031 City of Ripon 6th Cycle Housing Element as part of the City of Ripon General Plan 2040. The project is a General Plan Amendment to address the requirements of State law for housing elements, including to identify and analyze existing and projected housing needs in order to provide goals, policies, and programs that meet existing and projected housing needs for all income levels, promote the preservation, improvement, and development of housing for all segments of the community, and affirmatively further fair housing. The project is located citywide. THE PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY RESIDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR RECOMMENDATIONS ON PROPOSED PROJECTS AND PROVIDE COMMENTS TO THE CITY COUNCIL.
