NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The City of Ripon City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Avenue, Ripon, on the following matter: Electric Vehicle Charging Stations - The City Council of the City of Ripon will hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of an ordinance amending the Ripon Municipal Code, Title 16 to establish an expedited, streamlined permitting process for Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations, as required by California Assembly Bill (AB) 1236 and Assembly Bill (AB) 970. PURSUANT TO SECTION 65009 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN THAT IF SUCH PROPOSED AMENDMENTS ARE CHALLENGED IN COURT, SUCH CHALLENGES MAY BE LIMITED TO ONLY THOSE ISSUES RAISED AT THE PUBLIC HEARING OR IN WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE DELIVERED TO THE CITY COUNCIL AT OR PRIOR TO THE PUBLIC HEARING. ALL INTERESTED PARTIES will be given an opportunity to be heard by the City Council of the City of Ripon.
