STORM DRAIN ZONE 36/39 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PHASE 1 OUTFALL CONSTRUCTION (ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: $7M - $7.5M) SEALED BIDS will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Manteca at 1001 West Center Street, Manteca, California until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2026 for the STORM DRAIN ZONE 36/39 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PHASE 1 OUTFALL CONSTRUCTION (Project). As soon as practical thereafter, sealed bids for the project will be publicly opened and read for performing work as follows: Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of the project known as the STORM DRAIN ZONE 36/39 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT PHASE 1 OUTFALL CONSTRUCTION according to the plans and specifications as prepared by the City of Manteca and according to the Contract Documents. The work includes: Demolition of Oakwood Lake Water District (OLWD or District) wastewater treatment plant including removal/salvage of mechanical/ electrical equipment; removal/disposal offsite of pond liner and residuals; back filling of treatment ponds; removal of underground piping; relocation/ installation of OLWD office trailer; construction of Bronzan Relief Sewer, construction of return piping and valving on Chiavari, construction of 48-inch storm drain force main; construction of outfall structure including twin 30-inch outfall pipelines; and site grading/surface restoration/ security fencing for OLWD site. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled from 2pm to 4pm on April 1, 2026 at the OLWD Office Trailer on Aplicella Court. The gated entry will be open or a gate code provided for bidders. Project shall comply with the Milestone dates and Final Completion within 300 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Time for commencement and completion of the work is important due to the in-water work window timeframe limitation and is the essence of the Contract.
