Preliminary Public Notice Language for Potential Impacts to Floodplains SANN Hospitality dba Home2Suites intends to seek financial assistance from USDA, Rural Business Service (RBS), for the development of the Homes2Suites project. The proposed project consists of developing a 2.6-acre site with a four-story hotel building. The hotel will include approximately 98 guest rooms. An outdoor pool, and patio space, including two outdoor lounge spaces. The remainder of the site will consist of a paved parking lot with 132 spaces and landscaped areas. The location of the proposed project will be located at 15800 Golden Valley Parkway, Lathrop, California in San Joaquin County. If implemented, the proposed project will convert, or effect floodplain designated Zone X (shaded), which is areas within the 100-year floodplain (1% annual chance of flooding) and the 500-year floodplain (0.2% annual chance). In accordance with Executive Order 11988, Floodplain Management and USDA Departmental Regulation 9500-3, Land Use Policy, the purpose of this notice is to inform the public of this proposed conversion or effect and request comments concerning the proposal, alternative sites or actions that would avoid these impacts, and methods that could be used to minimize these impacts.
